French e bay

Scouring the internet for RD03 bits e bay France often seems to produce the best results , has anyone purchased stuff from there and is it effectively the same as using the UK site?

I've used French, German, and Italian eBay without any problems with regard to the sellers.
The biggest headache comes from Germany really, because very few of the sellers accept PayPal. I'm told this is because electronic bank transfers are commonplace and free, so why would they pay PayPal's rip-off fees!

I always use an online translater, although most Germans seem to speak excellent English (except Lord Vader of course) and I always ask lots of questions or for additional photos to be emailed to me. It is unlikely to be cost effective to send anything back, so be sure of what you're buying or don't bid.

One final thing, the postage from Europe is usually excellent, and most of the time you can track your package if they give you the number and website. I've only had one package go adrift for a few weeks, but it did turn up eventually.
