In Need of a XRV 750 RD07 Engine

Ok its my turn to go on my hands and knees and do some begging.

But before I start a quick intro - I reside in the southern tip of Africa and am the proud owner of a late 2002 XRV 750, which has never before given me a days problem since the day I rode it of the showroom floor. Have done may long trips with it most memorable being the whole Mozambican Coastline and another trip to Zanzibar via Botswana/Zambia/Malawi/Tanzania, besides these long trips I use it for my daily comute to work and back.

The motor has finaly said enough with nearly 130K km's on it, and after sripping it down the crank needs to be replaced and I have also noticed that the engine casing has a few scuff marks where the crank fits.

Reading some of the threads here I am looking at sourcing a second hand motor with relativly low milage and in good condition.

So my plea, are there any forum members that could assist me with the above request or know of any breakers in the UK that might be in possesion of a good engine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Jose

I know how difficult it is to find an engine. I found an accident damaged AT last week and I'm ok now with a 39 000km engine for my AT. Still have my old engine in bits and parts. My output shaft, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears is damaged but the crank is still ok and so is the housings. Give me a mail on hondsegat@gmail.com and maybe I can help you. From Windhoek in Namibia, so it is just around the corner.
