    Help with Oil Leak

I have just completed a charity ride round Ireland on my RD07 and she ran as sweet as a nut Apart from : the speedo stopped working and an oil leak developed from the main drive shaft.

Does anyone know if the seal can be replaced by just removing the small sprocket or is a full stip down needed?

Any ideas where i can get a new seal and speedo drive from?

    Hope you can help Rob

    Re: Help with Oil Leak

    Hi
I'm sure the drive shaft seal can be replaced easily once you remove the sprocket, hopefully the bearing is ok ,the engine would have to be removed to replace, total engine strip required , as to your speedo check the cable is okay also check the speedo drive in the front wheel

Try David Silver www.davidsilverspares.co.uk or Wemoto www.wemoto.com for spares
