Hello all.
A couple of questions regarding Honda's colour code and "TYPE" notations on original plastics and stickers/decals.
I'm trying to establish what the original part number is for the plastic covers and stickers on the model depicted under this link:
http://www.xrv.org.uk/wiki/index.php...Image_0004.jpg
Using the excellent XRV750S.pdf with part numbers found on
http://www.xrv.org.uk/media/XRV750S.pdf
I judge the part numbers for the plastic front cover (called COWL SET, R. SIDE) to be 64240-MY1-930 for "TYPE4" and "TYPE5" and 64240-MY1-620 for "TYPE7"
Q: What does the "TYPE*" mean in terms of colour?
I want to know the exact part number for the dark grey seen in the picture in the link below.

I know the *.pdf is for the S-model (-95) so maybe the numbering for this part for the -93/P model is different. But the question regarding TYPE remains.
Same story with the stickers. The stickers for the same plastic cover are colour dependant and one of them has the number 87136-MY1-620/930 for TYPE7/4,5.
One can see that the plastics and decals must be different for the three -95 colour schemes, so the fact that TYPE4 and TYPE5 share the same part nbr seems very strange. I would expect three different part numbers for red, grey and green plastics that year.

Can someone please explain the logic behind this so that one can find the exact part number for the plastics and decals for any year model and colour scheme.
Hope I expressed my questions in an understandable way
Regards,
David
