Using chain wax for lubing cables?

I used to have a TDM 93 model - great bike if you ask me!! Sadly it's not that off-road friendly, but got smooth engine (my @ vibrates too much for me to be honest...).

Just hang the carb needles in lowest position and you'll get 20km/l. Great lasting engine, I haven't ridden the "new" engine with the crank offset though.

What about a Super Tenere - got the same engine, only 750cc. Would have been my alternative to the @, but there's hardly any in South Africa...

WD40 does it for me. It may be wrong but it's all I've ever used without any problems.
Cape Town sounds very tempting, more so when the winter sets in here.

Winter - that's right, there was something like this in Europe (I grew up in Germany, lived in Scotland for 3 years, now am here in SA). Our "winter" down here in Cape Town lasts only 2 months, is often rainy though, 12'C, a bit of snow on the higher mountains (over 1500m).
