Bearings gone?

Hi
Read a lot of the treads here on head bearings.
Recently discovered that theres a noticable notch when turning the steering and the front wheel is in the straight forward position.

Are my bearings gone?
Or is it normal?

They are gone. There should be no notches.

Are the bearing kit from Wemoto ok?
Or is there any other places/suppliers worth checking?

I have used the Wemoto kits for other bikes and they have been fine. I need to do the headraces on my @ soon and will probably buy the complete kit from Wemoto. There is also bikebearings.co.uk but I haven't tried them for headrace bearings.
