Im on the road at the moment, I'll be home on sunday for some more net time, check out my threads & reports for some Oz AT action.Greg
Thanks for your reply...we're hoping to move to one of the suburbs around Brisbane, unsure exactly where just yet! Glad to hear there's a few AT riders out there. What's it like for parts out there, that is my main worry!?? I'll check out your other posts now!#
Look forward to hearing back from you soon
Paul
OK, Im back at home, what do you want to know ???.
Hi there Greg,
Thanks for getting back to me although reading your many posts has answered a large number of my questions. Good to hear there are some ATs out there though not many! We start our big move on the 12th September, so hope to be up and riding by Christmas! Good to hear there are also ride outs! Are there many in and around the Brisbane area? A concern of mine is also servicable parts, do you have any problems getting your hands on theses?
Speak soon
Paul
forgot to reply sorry !!!!, regular consumables are no problems at all.
Also for any oz riders, we've just got a honda v-twinners specific thread going in the oz section on advrider, see;

Finally landed over here and my bike is due for collection on or about the 18th December! Bar all the formalities I need to go through, safety checks & bike verification, I hope to be up and riding early in the New Year! Just one thing, can anyone recommend a quality insurer ideally one that recognises my UK no claims of course! Of all the quotes I've attempted to get, non recognise XRV 750. Any recommendations would be grateful. I even tried RACQ without any luck!
Regards
Paul
Paul,
try shannons, they've defineately insured an AT before. Dont know about the UK no claim though.

Dear Big Paul
Sorry to her about your misfortune of shipping your @ (and it's family) to the wrong country. @s do prefer to live in New Zealand.
NZ gives you chance to re-use the heated grips if nothing else.
Seriously, welcome to down under. My@ is a blast and I can't believe so many Aus and Kiwi riders fall for the lure of sport bikes on the roads that we have here, when a big traillie gives you access to the gravel roads as well.
