A quick "Howdy" from the left coast of the USA

    Howdy mates,

Dunno what kind of summer you're having in your part of the world (Hopefully a bright and warm one). I thought I'd post a few photos from the Pacific coast.

    Wild Rhododendrons in the Redwoods:

Wild blackberries on Kings Ridge Road:

The rule is: you have to eat (the berries, not the flowers) until your hands turn blue - or the bush grabs your cordura hard enough to have to cut yourself out.

Apologies for the blurry cell phone piccies.

I can think of worse ways to go, than being grapped by a bush!

Are you trying to upset us?? At least with our crap weather we get to see some of the Olympics! Tioga/Yosemite on an AT would be great to do. I'll dream of that one tonight...

Sorry....not trying to upset anyone. I truly have not bee keeping track of the weather in your part of the world. I normally read BIKE but that's a few months off in terms of current events.

I'd have thought that with our dollar in the abyss you would all be over here on the west coast riding in the sun, dodging wildland fires and drinking micro brew.

My dream is to get to that little island with the famous roads and fall off on a corner that actually has a name. I've always wanted to do some greenlane riding but, from what I read, that's almost gone now

I haven't done anything exciting to the bike since I lowered the pegs a few inches a while back (I think that's in the "bodge" section) so I thought I'd just post some random stuff for fun.

    Cheers,
