    Question A/T Radiator Guards

    Hi All

Does anyone know if I'll be able to buy new A/T radiator guards other than from Honda please ?

Mine are well weathered and nearly beyond saving with TLC & Waxoil as i ride all year round!

All contributions appreciated including any "how to keep your A/T from rusting" during winter riding.

Our very own RUGGED ROADS sell a very nice set (check out the link on this site), Annette will relieve you of a small amount of cash and throw in a nice smile too, how bad is that

    Hi Steve.

I have seen their rad guards and they are a nice bit of kit, I am sure you will be impressed with them.

    Re: A/T Radiator Guards

Romatech guards are inferior in two ways:
    • They are purely flat cut aluminium with which rest against the radiator - so anything hitting them will push through into the rad
    • They do not offer you the ability to relocate the Honda rubber flaps that are mounted to your original guards - so loosing airflow over your rads.
Rugged Roads Radiator Guards are a direct replacement for the OE Honda guards, in that thay use the original mounting points with S/S PEM studs, and stand off the radiators. They are precision lasercut, folded, and hard anodised.

They are also designed with folded laser cut mounting points (complete with Stainless Steel fixings) to swap over your OE rubber flaps

And to keep everyone happy, we offer them in either silver or black.
    They fit the RD03, RD04, RDo7 and RD07A

Just making sure that y'all can appreciate as to why our version costs more.......

If you really want to pay a lot of money then have a look at the African Queens version - which offers nothing more over the Rugged Roads version but costs over twice as much.....at 127Euros!!!...................

I have a set of the Rugged Roads ones and I'd highly recommend them as they are very good quality
