Riky cross crashbars ......... still waiting

Hi all, i know what you all said regarding riky cross but i didnt like any of the other crash bars i had seen so i sent him an e mail asking him the availability, he replied a day later saying they were expecting to have some ready the following week, thats great i thought.....................

I then read a post on here saying he gave discount to club members so i sent him another e mail and he got back the same day saying i could have 10%............................

I asked if he could send me an invoice so i could pay for a set and he sent me an invoice the following day, but he had made an error in the postage and had charged me 10 euros too much, so he sent me another one the next day........................

I recieved the ammended invoice and paid it...........................

Since then i've heard nothing, i've sent 5 e mails asking him how long he thinks they'll be................................ but nothing, its been 4 weeks now.

I'll keep you informed.

Cue................. all the people saying i told you so !!

I got an e mail today off Riky cross saying i should receive them in 2 to 3 days .

Hopefully he'll keep to his word, as soon as i get them i'll let you know what they're like...............

i sent another e mail yesterday and got one back this morning saying they were having problems with thier courier so he will send them next week....................... watch this space...................................42 days...............................and counting

I have only dealt with Riky Cross once and all I can say is we got there in the end.

I ordered a full set of both upper & lower crash bars for my Super Tenere and a headlight protector all finished in black.

Sods law would have it that some guy in Portsmouth at the same time ordered for his Super Tenere a set of lower crash bars in black a headlight protector in white and a motocross type paddock stand.

I’ll let you guess who ended up with what.

I contacted Riky Cross who explained that what had happened was the courier had stuck the wrong address labels on the wrong boxes.

As the invoices were inside to the boxes we both had each other’s contact details and arranged to send the boxes to each other via courier.

I contacted Riky Cross to let him know the outcome and he was good enough to send two T shirts and two hats as a good will gesture, which he didn’t have to do.

I must admit that it was a long winded affair from start to finish but it was the fault of the courier and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase items from Riky Cross in the future.

thanks superten, christ a satisfied customer, i wasnt expecting that. he doent get a lot of love on here. he seems to be replying more often to my e mails now, i just wish i didnt have to write him so many in the first place .

i think i'll e mail him with my head and chest size
