    Tripmaster on RD 04?

    Dear Folks,

Being new in the Forum – I might have a silly question. Is it possible to mount a tripmaster on a RD 04 machine (1990) – which has never had it before?

    Thanks,

    Andras

As well as the Tripmaster, you would need a set of instruments off a 1992 XRV750-N RD04 as the early speedo (XRV750-L/M) doesn't have the sensor in it that the tripmaster needs. The instruments on the XRV750-N are all in one rather than individual too so it's a complete set of clocks not just the speedo. You will also need to fabricate the extra bracketry or get a replacement clocks/fairing bracket off an XRV750-N.

It seems like a lot of hassle.

Buy a Garmin Zumo. It does everything you need and has Sat Nav as a bonus.
