choke lever

Hi all, i've put a post on regarding a misfire. I was reading through previous posts regarding misfires and a few mention choke cable. Am i correct in thinking that the choke lever should fully return when released as mine goes back about a 1/3 but you have to push the lever away from you to fully close it.

If i disconnect the chokes to see if that is the problem do i need to blank the holes up before i run it ??

Yes if you leave the holes empty the choke will be full on! I suppose you could rule it out that way, but the blanking cap for the sliding pin on the front calipers fits in there.

its an RD03 i've got, will the blanking plugs fit this model ???

Sorry I have no idea but it worked on my RD07A
