    givi cases and rack

picked a couple of givi cases up today, they came with the racks,so i fitted them to see what they looked like.

in the next picture ,not sure if you can see it or not,but the indicator catches on the side case,is this normal or should i fit a shorter indicator stem?

its not really a problem as i have a givi rack also that i will fit for trips, and just leave these racks on for protection like crash bars.
I dont live in a caravan, thats something else i picked up today on my travels, that goes with my other hobby, imported japanese mpvs.

Not sure if it is the same on the AT, but on my TA I had to move the indicators.

Givi supplied two brackets to hold the indicators under the top box mount. Shame they didn't supply a wiring loom to extend the leads as well.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Curiously, Givi insist that the Wingrack for the 650 Transalp is the one without the built in indicators. Don't know why, but there you go.

The reason should be obvious, the wingrack position would put the indicators in the direct line of the exhaust and melt them.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
