    Carburator floating house

    Hi There

Any one would be able to scan me some pages from a manual.
so i can see how to get down to the carbs.

I want to take off the carburator floating housing, so i can see, if there are some dirt.
Sometimes it felles like some dirt, comes into the jet, and loss of power.
If i pull the clutch, and rolling on, and the bike dies. After a stand still for a moment, the bike runs fine again for a while.

Unfortunatly i´m the only gut with a AT in this country.

    Kind regards

    Hello Steen,

Which model is it, RD04 or RD07 (or what year) ?

Strange carburation problems often turn out to be a faulty fuel pump.

This could be a vacuum in the fuel tank, are any hoses trapped or bent?

    Check your fuel pump.

Does the bike run OK when the fuel tank is full??

The problem occurs after highway half an hour at 120km/h
I can drive more than a half tank, city trafik without any problems.

If you take the fuel cap off slowly when it cuts out, can you hear a hissing noise?
