Whats the rear fender from? XL?

Now for my next project!!!

I think Honda used a standard rear fender on the 86/87 NXR? question is, does anyone know or recognise which bike it's off - something tells me maybe an XL500? Any help will be very useful

Be worth looking at the late XR500r or early XR600r.

there were other versions of the nxr though

the xl600 lm and rm's back mudguard was very similar

Heres a picture of the rear mudguard on my 1985 XR600R

I thouht it was the same mudgard as for the XL500R
But I just noticed that it's not

However the XL600R that Honda used as works machine in the Dakar seems to have the same mudgard

might be wrong but XR 250 1994 model was very similar if a tiny bit longer.
