Now we are heading to parity with euro, this is not looking like a particulary cost effective excercise unless it is for a "minter" and if one can tie it in with a good holiday aswell so I don't think I am up to a mutiple import just yet but thanks for the offer of the trailer - I'll let you know how I get on.

I have just bought a bike in Germany ( have to fess up its a twin but its got a shaft drive) Its a 1992 model so well used . A long time ago I brought a scooter in Italy and got it registered without any problem . I have the DVLA documents in which they say that some vehicles over 10 years old don't need to be registered - anyone know what these are?

also does anyone know if I can get an MOT with KMH speedo and as the bike as an aftermarket exhaust whether that not being BS stamped will be a problem
