    Speedo Cable

    Quick question,

While taking off the front wheel tonight I disconnected the speedo cable and foolishly let the actualy cable fall out of the tube. I am assuming that the other end (at the speedometer) it is attached in a similar fashion as the bottom of the speedo cable (meaning the cable slips onto a key. I am wondering if I now need to take apart the speedometer end of things to slip the cable back on?

I may have this all wrong... let me know.

    Thanks.

    Re: Speedo Cable

Just by slipping the inner cable back into it's casing and rotating it slowly you should be able to get the end to seat in the drive without any problems at all. The ends of the cable have square ends that locate in the speedo and wheel so they should just locate the drive keys easily.

    Re: Speedo Cable

As mentioned the speedo cable just sits in a square hole at the speedo end the drive from the wheel is different as it needs to mesh with gears.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
