    @ tyres

Can anyone confirm that the tyres that Honda officially recommends for the AT RD07A 1997, are Bridgestone Trailwings?

According to my owners manual (1999) tire brands are...Bridgestone TW101 front and TW152 Radial for the rear. Also Michelin T66 front and T66X for the rear.

The 101 & 152 Trailwings are good tyres, much better than the 48 & 56 Trailwings that went on the Alp

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica

    Re: @ tyres

My new Vara VA9 has trailwings as standard, as much as folk ridicule them as deathwings I've touched down the pegs on the Vara already! I reckon I covered over 100,000 miles on Trailwings on @T's and can't say a word against them, well, apart from the front can lose it's profile with wear and made turning in a bit vague but which tyre wouldn't?
I thought you couldn't get them any more? I thought they were replaced by the Battlewing? I was surprised the Vara came with them, but they've been fine so far. I'll probably replace them with the Anakee's as my Tiger had, I couldn't find deathwings!

    Re: @ tyres

Thanks all. I asked because I had to know the official tyres from Honda. I'm actually going to get Heidenaus when the time is right. But right now I need the pukka ones, even tho' I prefer others.
