Hi, just thought I would show a close up of a NGK DPR8EIX-9 IRIDIUM PLUG, next to a standard type.
For those who may have wondered what they look like. They look good but will I be able to tell the difference.

I don't know if it's my imagination, but I reckon they made my bike slightly smoother.
There's lots of claims about improved economy, but I didn't find this at all.
I'm just hoping they live up to the claim of a longer life.

XL650VY - TKC80's, Mivv Suono "silencer", Arrow Headers, PAIR system removed, 125 mains, Renthal 677 bars, MRA Vario Screen, Scottoiler, Honda Main Stand, Daytona Heated Grips, Sparkbright Charge Monitor
Tested the Iridium plugs last time. No difference at all (what I could notice).
And some people say that the bike runs smoother, but did they compare them to brand new regular sparks? No, against the old/used spark plugs.
Talked to a superbike mechanic about iridium plugs and he said that they could not find and noticeable difference between them.
From my limited knowledge, these plugs will make a difference to highly tuned engines, that cannot be said about the @.............! I wouldn't bother and would stick to the standard
Yer.. they give improved burn at very high temperatures in high compression engines...
On an AT.... A waste of dosh im afraid.
Well I have now had a few days with them and I have got to say they do feel different, not a huge difference, but mainly I noticed they seemed to have a quicker and smoother response. Mind you I was ready to change my plugs. I think if I change back to standard plugs next time, I should feel a performance drop, if they were genuinely improving things. I think this is always easier to feel than a performance gain.
