Check the mixture screw and carb balance.
It is possible that as the original pump degraded the mixtures were altered to compensate, a new strong pump now needs to be tuned to your needs.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

That's exactly what happened with mine - old pump getting steadily weaker and delivering less fuel and that was accommodated steadily at each service. When I switched pumps, I was in trouble until next service and then all set back to right levels and all fine ever since.

    200 - 220 before reserve required.

Get the machine serived - plugs, air filter, tappets, then get carbs balanced.

    Just my tuppence worth

Nice one folks, I'll get the puppy serviced, think it's due for a BIG service anytime now....... good pump though, it eveb clicks mega loud just before i need to switch over to reserve.....an audable warning is incuded free....cant do any good for the pump though, so always try to fill up before that point.....generally at the 115mile mark!
