Replacing nuts and bolts with stainless

As part of my Twin's rebuild I want to replace the tatty old bolts with stainless where possible (I know you can't for load bearing)

Anyone know what bolts can be replaced? Are they Honda only?

you could these people Pro-Bolt Ltd XRV750 African Twin

or these people Welcome to Inox Fasteners website

or do what i did and note all the bolts you want to replace and take them to a fastener company who will match all the fasteners in stainless for you.
The second option is often far cheaper than the first as they don't always want to give you a receipt if you know what i mean

I simply got a bag of 200 or so off e-blag, decent enough kit, free postage and free nyloc nuts! Bargin. I've just been going round replacing stuff as I come to it - it makes a big difference - look at the manky phillips head things holding the rear brake-line guides onto the swing arm - mine are now natty little cap-head stainless jobbies and they look mint! The selcetion packs they flog on e-blag come with all kinds of daft lengths so some need to be cut down to lenght to be useable, but still a bargin..........

You can get stainless bolts that can bear load as well normal '8' grade steel - you'll just need to pay more for 'em!

One word of warning guys, when you change and load bearing bolts make sure they are the correct tensile strength replacements OK, don't want any misshaps do we?.

I would only replace the cosmetic bolts, the ones you can get for the casings do not have to be too tight but if they hold the heavy duty stuff then set about buying new replacements from Honda and send them away for coating.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
