1998 triumph tiger

right im not going to go for the tenere, whats the story with the triumph tiger 1998.,Theres one going for 2500 euro 16,500 miles mint.i know they were called steamers and not as heavy as the 1990 AT i had and had to get rid of...saddly!!!
Any advice as to what to look out for or are they a waste of time also.the 98 model has a very distinctive look and i know they have kehin carbs and may have coolant leakage problems.thats about it.oh yea the weight is 485 pounds and seat height 39ins

They look much more hardcore than what are known as "girlies" (the 855 and 955i models), but other than that I'm afraid I don't know much about them.

For a completely independent and unbiased view, why not visit one or two of the Triumph and/or Tiger forums? (Psst. I used to belong to a couple, but they're nowhere near as much fun as this lot.)
