Hi All
I need a fuel tap for my RD07 and the garage have just quoted me 75 squids from Honda. Bit steep given that I've just paid out for discs, tyres and some welding. yeoowch. What else will do the job?
Cheers, Steve

You could try this guy on ebay. He's breaking an @.
Hi
Thanks for the reply and the link. It looks like he's breaking an RD04. Anybody, know if the tap will fit an RD07?
Cheers, Steve
The picture in his listing is 94 or 95 model (see colour schemes in the Wiki section) which makes it an RD07 model. Or is that just a 'library' picure? Not sure whether an RD04 tap will fit if it is an RD04 though..
Just had a thought. If he is reading the RD04 number from the engine case, they all start 'RD04xxxxxx' whether it's an RD04, 07 or 07A.

Called but no answer. Dropped him an email. There must be alternatives out there. Are these things fixable?
I am selling one from an dr07a for £2.00 ( the plastic extention arm is broken ..but could be glued back together but the tap works fine).
Other then that i have OEM to 16X 1.0m adapter which means you could use any of the africa queens/touratech/OMG taps (ut they dont ccome with the extention arm. This is stainless steel and is £5.00.

Have you looked at Xander's stuff in the For Sale section? He's selling a fuel tap that will fit your bike.
Hi All
Just saying thanks for all your replies on this post. Managed to get a tap from AllBike breakers in Norfolk for 20squids. Really quick delivery. Note that if you use this guy his paypal email is 'allbike' at btconnect rather than 'allbikes' which is a bike shop up north somewhere. This was probably the easiest job I've ever had to do. Removed the tank, laid it on its side, removed the tap using my 30mm uber-spanner and put the new tap on. Simples!
Thanks again the help
Steve
