    What size risers?

Hello. Im looking to raise my bars by about 2 inches or so. I have the stock honda bars, what sized risers do I need? I have been trying to find the dimensions out on the net but no joy. Can anyone suggest/recomend a set of risers? Im not looking to spend too much and I dont want to buy any high bars plus risers, just a simple set of risers will do. I find that when Im standing I have to lean over way too far, also when I sitting my arms just feel real low, I guess Im just used to dirt bikes where the bars are always really high?! Cheers alot.

    Re: What size risers?

You dont need to get the whole riser.. Why not just get adaptors that raise the bars ??

PIT/ DIRT BIKE HANDLE BAR CLAMPS/HIGH RISERS on eBay, also, Trials Motocross Bike Parts, Motorcycle Parts Accessories, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 25-Jun-09 22:10:26 BST)

Sizes are pretty generic apart from Yamaha and the Swedish MX stuff.

    Re: What size risers?

Not necessarily those ones but others will...

Handle bars are all the same size apart from "Oversized" bars which are always advertised as such "Renthal Fat bar or Twin wall" etc.

Standard (like the AT) are 7/8" and oversize are 1-1/8th"

The clamps are universal too with the 2 bolt holes lining up on almost all Japanese bikes from the big 4.

I've seen plenty of these new on Ebay shops..

Great stuff cheers, I like the fact that they pull the bars back as well! What about these, they also pull the bars back 3" HIGH PULLBACK RISERS FOR 7/8" BARS on eBay, also Bars, Grips Foot Rests, Accessories, Motorcycle Parts Accessories, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 11-Jul-09 14:16:45 BST)

Would these just bolt right on?

Hmmmm I dont think so. They look like they are meant to be bolted to the yoke..

For simplicity, you want the ones that clamp into the original risers. They will have a half moon at the bottom which will sit in the original clamps that the picture of the "1.5" Universal risers" picture above.

Be careful, anything over 20mm rise on an AT and you may need to get a longer front brake hose.

    Re: What size risers?

I bought 2'' ROX risers from this site: Rox Risers for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Found these best on the market.
I have Renthal Enduro High handlebar and Goodrige braided hoses on my RD07a.
OE bar is approx. 20 mm higher but with Goodridge lines the risers fit easily. Maybe you need to reroute the clutch cable.

Fitted those risers to my brothers Transalp as well with Renthal Enduro High bars. Only clutch needed re-routing and some cables loosened. Brake hose was quite tight, so the bars can't be rotated to any angle. So it's recommended to install longer hoses which we plan to do.
