Attempted theft - ignition barrel and handlebar clamps need replacing. Yen?

Hi all
Idiots had a go at my bike AGAIN last night. Since they stuffed up my immobiliser not so long ago, that I had to strip from the bike, they've gone and f*#ked up the steering lock and ignition barrel now by trying to force the handlebars.

So, firstly I need an ignition barrel. Yen, you mentioned you got a CBR 600 FM-FW 91-98 ignition barrel from patternparts.net. There's also an xrv750 L-Y 90-03 barrel in the list... here. I assume they didn't have this when you got yours? Also, does this replace the steering lock pin that I'm guessing they've also damaged (if that's how it works).

Secondly I need to replace the handlebar clamps. They've bent the stem of the right clamp when twisting the bars. Is it all one piece that goes down through the top yoke or are the clamp and its stem separate? I've a feeling they're not original so has anyone got a pair they can sell me? It's an RD07 '97.

I've contacted the breaker at allbike in norfolk (...not allbikes up north) to see what he can do. Any help on this would be much appreciated. If anyone wants to take shifts sitting in the carpark each weekend until they come back to help me beat them stupid, do drop me a line.
Thanks all, Steve

That's correct, they didn't have exactly the same barrel when I wanted one, so they probably have got the right one now. The steering lock pin IS part of the new ignition switch as you suspect.

Re the handlebar clamp being out of line. Try just loosening them all off and retightenting, this sorted mine once, I think the rubbers just distort sometimes.

2000 XRV750 (NO 3), I think I'm getting the hang of them now, must fit the centrestand before the back tyre wears out. Damn, the driveshaft bearing wore out first!

That's a good price! I paid £35 a couple of years ago when mine was busted.

Hi All
Just wanted to say thanks for your help getting the ignition barrel sorted. Ended up buying the one from PatternParts.net. The only problem, as I think you mentioned elsewhere Yen, is that the connector's are different. I had to use the kitchen scissors (shhhh) to push the wire's spades out of the new connector and put them into the existing one.
A real bonus is that I now own the biggest spanner on the planet (30mm) for the yoke top nut (and also for the fuel tap which was my other job). I wear the trousers.
Thanks again for your help
Steve
