    XRV750 plastic model kit

    Hi folks,

I am trying to track down....if one was ever made, (been on the net and scoured loads of model forums and model suppliers), a plastic model kit (like airfix, tamiya etc) of an Africa Twin XRV 750, I have managed to find a kit of the NXR750.

Would the NXR750 serve as a good basis to scratchbuild/convert to an XRV750?

Any thoughts or even hints as to where i could get one, would help a great deal.
2000, RDO7, Black, Arrow Exhaust, Black Powerbronze screen, Corbin Seat, Hagon Shock, Black Crash bars, Garmin Nuvi, and a Shoei Hornet.

This is a finished one, different exhaust, similar tank and fairing to the xrv but single front disc, different engine and frame, seat, drum rear brake and mudguards most of the bits for the nxr were nicked from the xl lmf so different to the all new xrv650 and then 750. but heyho anythings possible with a bit of glue and a set of modellers files eh?

FANTASTIC NEWS IF YOU HAVE ONE!, let me know how much you would want for it .

Yeah sweet looking model i came across this too, it's in 1/12 by Tamiya,... the plastic spokes were removed and re-laced with thin wire . By the looks of it, it would make a solid starting point for an XRV750 model, bit of plastruct, glue needle files, putty, proportional dividers and we're off.

I thought I'd have a quick look and came across a site that sells old bike kits.Didn't have any AT's though.

I had to stop myself getting out the credit card and starting yet another new hobby

Better than my trike I had as a kid,...... I think it is a bit bigger than 1/12 scale though

i had forgotten which section this thread was in. i am a twit! the kit is in its original box and all i have done is built the engine and bashplate which has a toolkit on it. decals are the Rothmans colours and not touched. as for price, how about £25 posted to you?
