    Mystery fuel line

    Ideas anyone?

OK, been battling with tappets and have found a fuel line that goes nowhere. I've checked to see if there are any disconnections and also onto the (removed) fuel tank. No clues there.

It connects near the rear shock with a T to the fuel lines coming from the bottom of the carbs, which I believe are the float bleed valves. It them connects to the breather that runs out the bottom of the bike.

I'm guessing this is a breather pipe, but can't find any reference to it in the Haynes manual, and putting it there seems a bit wierd.

In the picture, the yellow tooth brush handle is pointing at it. It ends about 5cm in between the carbs, open ended
