Givi Topbox - Jammed Lock

The lock on my Givi Topbox on my AT appears to have jammed (or else possibly someone had tried to prise it open when parked unattended). Anyway, cant unlock it!!!! Do any of you chaps know of any way round this problem other than drilling the lock out? Obviously reluctant to do this but cant think of any other solution? Suggestions much appreciated!

How about if anyone knows they pm it rather than post - no point advertising how to break in eh!

Have you tried WD40 or similar to see if the lock just needs a clean.

and push down on the box to try to relieve some pressure on the locking sear as you unlock it? careful you dont break the key, givi keys are better than most but they are still quite soft brass.

how old is the box? if its old it might have worn a step in the lockplate
