    Use a 1cm square piece of black insulation tape.

    Stick this over the oil light.



    Sorted !!!!

    why dont you go to halfords and buy an oil filter and castrol gps semi syn 10w 40.it quicker than ebay.ive used castrol in mine ever since ive had the bike and i use the champion oil filter they stock.

    I spoke to my mate at the Honda dealer about that - OE filters are (he says) better quality than pattern stock - not necessarily better than the ones Halfords stock but they can be hit and miss and if there is a problem I want to ensure as many angles are covered as poss. Plus the price he would charge would be £11 whereas ebay/internet is alot less (Like David Silver spares)

    Secondly, I ain't gonna get to do this until middle of the week at the earliest and I need to order some capless bulbs for the rev counter and all can be sourced of fleabay or more likely the internet. So I can afford to wait a few days.

    Oil I may get from Halfords as that saves delivery charges. Funnily enough Paul reckons to use Castrol as it is as good as any other out there.
