Carb modification details required

Hi,

I looking to obtain detailed instructions on how to modify the carbs on my 2001 RD07A @ with respect to drilling out the holes in the diaphragm sliders, lifting the needles and drilling the airbox with expected benefits of each mod.

So far my search of these forums has only led to generic references to these modifications so I would be grateful for any further information.

Hi Ian, not sure about the exact sizes of the airbox holes, but have a look here, I think one of the guys did them 40mm:

The carbslide holes I found in a Dynojet manual online somewhere, it said 2.5mm. Try this one here: http://www.dynojet.com/pdf/European/Honda/E1165.001.pdf

Good luck, and when you check the sparkplug colour check this one out first for UNLEADED petrol... it's in German, but the picture should settle the matter (or let Google translate the site for you).
