I use a Hepco and Becker alluminium coloured plastic top box, pictured here Honda Trail Bike Forums - digitalcaptive's Album: TLD - Finish ACE - Picture

Not cheap at around £200 including mounting carrier. It is well made, appears robust and is waterproof (even in some recent torrential rain the contents remained dry).
I am happy with it and I think it looks the part.

Traveller, I must agree with with you that does look the part, spot on. Both you and Paul-S have hit the right buttons and opened my options up.

I'm leaning towards your option as it looks like it blends in nicely, it may be plastic but it looks fantastic

Thank you to all for taking the time to post.

Looks very nice but it's a big aerofoil for the wind to press down and lighten the front end making the bike very unstable in winds. The fairing on these bikes is not wind friendly in the first place.

The smaller the top box the less of a problem.

You need to find one that satisfies your needs.

As far as I know they were made like this, and there were even side boxes in the same colours.

I think they are from late 80, early 90, so you have to find them second hand, and as you already know, they are Givi boxes
