    Gear selector switch

The switch that is controlled by the clutch to enable you to start the bike in gear seems to have malfunctioned. I would try to fix it but don’t know what or where this part is - or called? - Please could someone give me a heads up as to what im looking for

    thanks guys

    Re: Gear selector switch

I think it's just called a clutch switch. It lives on the underside of the clutch lever in a similar position to the rear brake light switch on the brake lever. Mine went ages ago and I've just disconnected it. Works fine except I have to remember to be in neutral to start the bike.

    Cheers
