    Re: Which Tank Bag

i use a BAGSTER ( IS THAT THE SAME AS BAGLUX???) and i must say that the tank bag and tank cover combo is the best you can get i actually have 2 tank covers and 2 bags .i love them and they seem as sturdy as you can get also very easy to use. i have a tank cover on my DR BIG and use one of the bags on it. i am looking for a tankcover for my SUPER TENERE so i can use the same bag on it.

Me 2 I use a small Bagalux tank bag that is shaped like a 'turtle' they don't make them any more but they are perfect on trail bikes of any sort either my BM or the AT

No problems with this style of bag, ( city bag)
which according to the nice lady I spoke to at Bagalux this week is no longer made! Dooh

I did have a larger style of bag baglux/ bagster ( alpha bag) which fouled everything so I sold it on e bay and got the current one ( city bag)

I've got the City bag, same as Magwa. When it was first fitted, it pressed the starter button on full lock so I just moved the button down a bit and now no problem. I must say I like the bag a lot. It's absolutely huge so I can bring a some of my touring luggage forward on the bike to even out the weight a bit. Discontinued by Bagster but some still available in the shops. I got mine last month from Hein Gerricke.

I use one bought from Lidl - cheap as chips and does what it says on the tin. Secure but does hit horn and starter buttons on full lock. Can remove the side pocket compartment on the horn side which resolves this issue.

    Re: Which Tank Bag

ive found using a buffalo expandable tank bag (1st section is a base section which zips off to be a map pocket, 2nd section is a smaller tank bag,3rd zip on section is a biggy, with a zipped expander bit to it) to be excellent..
its magnetic and has straps as well to fix to the tank

here is an old photo, but shows it fitted...

    Re: Which Tank Bag

Found this on ebay: Baglux Tank Bag - black on eBay (end time 22-Aug-09 17:50:42 BST)

Its a Baglux 12L Shibuya model. Looks like a decent low profile bag. I'll keep looking for a City Bag unless you guys think the ebay special may be even better.

    Re: Which Tank Bag

I just bought this one off e bay for £20
Perfect fit so the black one is for the dark side machine and this one for the AT
Baglux tank bag-for large trail bike Africa Twin, Tiger on eBay (end time 15-Aug-09 20:15:00 BST)

Note the Bagster tank bag on the AT has different centres for the attached straps. they are much closer together on the AT than the bigger GS tank Ive shown the pictures to above
