Noisy Facet pump

Small Query ….
I fitted new facet pump just recently and lately its start make pulsating noise like tick. It doesn’t happened all the time mostly when bike get worm and comes and goes. Any ideas?

Normal. The clicking is nothing to be worried about in my opinion. When it does happen the operation of the engine is not affected. What you are hearing are the nylon (pumping) plungers clattering away. I have noticed it when my fuel tank level is getting low, possibly with air introduced from the sloshing around. If you shut down the engine and restart it I have found the clattering to stop. Or move the petcock to the other position and it will also go away. No big deal.

my pump makes a clicking too... thank god!!! warns me to turn to reserve in about 2miles, not get stuck in the middle of a busy juction etc
