OK people- thanks for the pointers. its A "Hub Sub Assembly Front Wheel"- part 44635MAY000- I was rather hoping someone might say "oh yes- these are like Yamaha R1 Front wheel assy's"- no need to get Honda ones- here's the alternative!

    ...we can all dream!

Will ask Mrs Rod York to order one tomorrow- I'm out on the bike! with a R1200 Adventure chap- heres a link to what he does- VERY talented chap indeed

The rubber one is the "front wheel right bearing seal" the steel one is the "speedo drive actuator". It's the part that makes the whole speedometer mechanism work.

Don't order that it'll be the best part of £200 as it's the part number for a complete front hub.

    You need:
    44680-ML7-000 Retainer, Gearbox
    91257-MAY-003 Dust Seal 28x42x8

    Much cheaper
XL650VY - TKC80's, Mivv Suono "silencer", Arrow Headers, PAIR system removed, 125 mains, Renthal 677 bars, MRA Vario Screen, Scottoiler, Honda Main Stand, Daytona Heated Grips, Sparkbright Charge Monitor

Nice of Alan to furnish those part #'s for you...thats why this site is so great. But, you WERE aware that those #'s are in the Tech Data at the top of the page...which is where you will find the microfiches. Right?
    Maybe not. Just asking.
    cheers.
