You have to remove the exhaust header pipes to gain access to the right side fitting. As long as you don't mind doing this, the stand is easy to fit. Installing the springs is not quite as easy. I hooked them over the top and used a big lever to stretch them over the bottom fitting (one at a time rather than both together). Somebody else may have a better technique than that however.

ratchett straps for the springs,in place at the front and pulled rearward and one goes inside the other(you'll figure out which)new exhaust gaskets if you're taking off the exhaust.
Hi Marc
You can install the centrestand without taking the exhausts off..
Just install the 'pin' under the exhaust side the other way round. By that I mean install it from under the bike facing outwards. To do this you need to cut a few millimetres of the length of the collar off and redrill it for the splitpin. I cut mine just on the inside of the existing spiltpin.
It makes it very easy to place the stand under and fit the pins. Only problem then is to fit the springs!! The 2p peices in several of the coils b4 installing to lengthen the spring seems to work ok
Good luck

No instructions included in the box?
The following may help.

my tip for the springs is here
Whealie (Wing Commander, @ Airborne Division)
Two XRV750-M ('91) RD04s on J ('92) plates.
Laser Pro Duro, crash bars, bark busters, heated grips, GPS, topbox, Alu Boxes, Scotoiler, Starcom, ciggie lighters and XRV stickers.
Job done, with no nasty lumps taken out of my hands.
Put it on the padock stand then wired the springs with one of those bolts with the eye one end and the nut the other. Put some old handlebars through the padock stand then bolted through and wound the bolt until the springs just popped over the bracket.
Thanks for your tips.
