Not at present. I have owned two RD04's. One was stripped for spares and bits of it have been sent worldwide to keep other RD04's running. The other one was absolutely superb. It was owned by a forum member before me and has been owned by two other forum members since. I sold it on 'cos it was just sitting in my garage and I wasn't having the time to ride it. An RD04 really needs to be ridden

I got that impression from your advice. Nice bike by the way . Going to do a poll and see how the Africa twin community on line here stacks up in relation to the different models. Would you help me compile the list of models- RD01 RD02 RD03 RD04 etc.

Just click what you drive and see which models are the most prevalent?

    Hi AlanH
excuse the long delay here, but if you still have that offer of the 'Rev' counterI'd be glad to buy it off you. I put the bike away during the snow etc, but now I'm back on the case of getting it sorted out, I've checked the electrics and I've got voltage on the feed to the tacho when ignition is on, so I guess the internal circuits were damaged, all bulbs on dashboard also blown[which I've replaced] so at sometime in the past must have been an electrical overload on the system. Let me know if you want to sell, mine is the RD04 - 1991 [without the trip meter].
    Cheers

I hadn't spotted this, Silage. I see you've not posted since last September, but it's nice to know there's another XLVer with an SE postcode. That makes three Alps (Penge, Deptford, Waterloo) and three ATs (two in Lewisham and you) to my knowledge.

The tacho is all boxed up and waiting ready to go.
