    Headlights

    Hi all,
Do any of you guys know if Headlamps from a 1991 @ would fit a 1993 RD07?

    Thanks in advance
    Mick

That is a tough one. Only real way of finding out is to try some.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: Headlights

I'm not sure if they'll fit, but I seem to remember the adjustment screw setup being slightly different between some of the models (if you check the parts microfiches here it might show you). Might not be an issue if they come with the whole frames though (I'm not sure).

If they do look like they'll fit or you're keen to have a go, something else to check is that it came from an RD04 that has the H4 fittings in, and not the old screw in bayonet bulbs. Some of the imported bikes (italian ones in particular but there are a couple of others I think too) have these bayonet type connectors, and the bulbs for them are a bit rubbish. Some people here have altered them to fit the more modern H4 connectors, but it seems like a bit of a mess about (there are a few posts here about them).

I think most of the RD04s came with the H4 fittings as standard, but it might be worth double checking before you buy them to be on the safe side or you could end up having more work than you were expecting (if they'll actually fit at all - I'm not completely sure myself).

    Thanks for the replies.
I'll see how much they go for on ebay. My RD07 has "LHD" lights on it. Strange as its not an import and everything else is in mph....

If I do end up getting them I'll let you all know if they fit or not.
