OK look good . Question was the marathon the only official Honda XRV @ to take part in the race. Ive started trawling the web to put the story together so apologies if I get it side ways around this.

As far as I know, yes. The first one was a 650 prototype who run the Pharaons '88 with Joel Daures, you can see it here:

The last ones were the eight 750 who run the Dakar '91. One of their driver was Londoner Watson-Miller, you should try to contact hime and ask where that bike is, probably at Honda UK?

Yeah its the last thing I have on my list to bring down. At present have fridge , kettle, small press with pot noodles ,Spam etc. two office chairs , heater , radio etc . Funny how we see things , wife always talks about the shed at the end of the garden and Ive always seen it as the house at the end of the garden?

PS the bike is a legend all we need to do now is put a couple of riders on it.
