650 TA carbs on RD03 ?

Does anyone know if the 650 transalp carbs are compatible with an RD03 ?
My carbs are a bit had it and Im looking for a quick cost effective fix.

As far as I know, the 650 Transalp carbs is not a direct substitute for the RD03 carbs

That said, I guess everything is possible with some devine engineering.

I think it would be better to contact a company like David Silver, http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ or Wemoto, http://www.wemoto.com/
or John Oldfield, http://www.johnoldfield.co.uk/ and investigate if there are any servicekits for your carbs.

Perhaps the carbs from the Transalp 600, 87-88 would be more suitable?
Check the carb bore between the two, I think most of the RD03 specific hardware could be swaped over to the TA carbs

Check if this bike uses the same carbs:

Honda VT750/700 Shadow
Year 1983-1985

If so then you can get a servicekit from here:

If not, then Ebay Germany, France, GB or Italy would be the place to find a better set of RD03 carbs
