1990 AT HRC paint codes

Just to finally put it to bed below are the following codes for the RWB HRC 1990 Africa Twins hopefully this should clear up maters for anyone not knowing the codes. The older 650 Twins have the same colours by the looks of it.

They are Palinal codes and are as follows

Shasta White = NH138M
Blue Viola = A896 (the lighter blue stripe)
Monza Red = R110

The other colour is the dark blue which I didnt bother to get a code at present but will later

HTH anyone looking to do any mods or respraying.

I reckon your spot on there, it was your original posts that gave me the headstart on the codes so thanks should go to you,

I just wanted to confirm it for others as I have just bought the paint and tested it out on the panels.

Actually I think you deserve the thanks. I notice there is a difference in our RAL codes for "Monza Red", so I would have to recommend your one as you've actually bought and tested the stuff. Mine was just a comparison using a RAL book and an RD03 panel I took into the store.

Would "we" be spraying some new fibreglass sir??

Well BOB Just ran out to the shed to check the code on the tin.

Yours was right R110 is the correct code dont know where i got R133 from

And yes i might be spraying up the odd bit of history

hopefully soon to be completed
