Hi all!
Looking to buy new or used body kit parts for my `99 @ as the old ones are damaged. Front cowl housing the lights would be much appriciated.

I was in the same position, they are like rocking horse poo.

if your cowl has cracks in, dont fiber glass it, i tried that but load of kak, I used a tip from someone on here and welded it with a soldering iron and then filled the gaps with a glue gun....good as gold

its not as much that, since the wether has gone cold and the girlfriend is mad at me, will be staing in a warm garage for a while and looking for something to fix on my first love. Will try the soldering/gluing trick. Thanks

I fixed a fairing once using a Plastic Weld Kit. I had all the parts from a shattered nose cone ang jigsawed it back -it was very strong then filled with filler and sprayed away - good result.

You would be surprised what can be salvaged. The plastic kit it smelly and difficult to use but with practice you get quite good.

Maybe it is cheaper en less time consuming to try this.
