ignition noise

looking for some info please...got a clicking noise coming from the ignition switch on my 96 africa twin as the engine is running..the noise sounds just as though the indicator is on allthough it isnt of course...also the clicking noise is still there with just the ignition on but without the engine running...i just have not got a clue what it can be...any advise would be most greatfull as i cant afford another bill after putting two new tyres rear and front brake discs and pads and new chain and sprocketts ready for the winter...still its worth every penny as the old girl just plods on and on...thanks kevsky.

Turning signal relay makes a clicking noise if water has entered the relay casing/housing.
There are some small holes in the bottom of casing
On my 93 model it`s just in front of dashboard.
Disconnect the wire an i belive there was only one screw.
I took it off and took it inside to dry.
Afterwards all ok
