    Good Luck

    Bob

    As above.

It could equally be undercharging as well.

Also check all your earth connections are sound, and the contacts of the master 30amp fuse under the starter solenoid while you're at it.

    Good Luck

Also the lights seem to be really bright and I popped a lightbulb recently, so maybe the lights are drawing too much power. I had the front end off recently as well as i have changed the headlight subframe

    any ideas

    Try this...

Very bright and popping bulbs usually means regulator rectifier is dead.

had similar problem with a brand new battery. I bot it and travelled abt 400 kms. The next morning your w-pecker was there.

It turned out in my case the conjektor in Turkish (rectifier ???) was the culprit. The current the alternator produced was a roof top 18V fried my 0 km batteries all along 400 km. THere was this strange electric arch sound smtime during the ride. Pullled over to check nothing. The rectifier normalizes the current at a 14.6-14,9 V interval...aything more will harm ur battery beyond use, depending on the duration of the ride.

But the morning after the long ride the battery was not only exhausted but also had bulged on the middle...

I think that someone did a mod for a cbr600 rectifier that is a fraction of the price of the @....

Not CBR600 (they often have the same problem) - R1, R6 or GSXR1000 are favourites.
