Advice and help needed...

Hi all
My brother bought this just before christmas, (RD03). It had been stood outside, at a breakers/salvage yard since september. It runs fine and the engine is very quiet, having done about 40k kms. It must have come from a warm climate, or it's been extremely well looked after, as there is only a bit or surface rust on the rear sub frame. He's done all the service stuff, but there a few bits needing attention though:
1: rear rack missing
2: silencer needs changing
3: screen missing
4: frame between headlights/headstock, holding instruments & lights bent beyond repair - but it's £165 from david silver spares!
5: needs a speedometer
Apart from thiese 'bits', it's in good condition, and worth spending on.
It's just passed an MOT & been taxed. The screen and rack seem to be the hardest to find!!.....has anyone any ideas/parts/cheap places to shop?

try this site for the screen - its where I replaced my original with a slightly larger one as 6'5" & was getting a bit of wind blast on my head

Regarding the rack - could pick up a few copies of motorcycle news & keep an eye on the breakers section or ebay.

Take care choosing a new silencer, getting it wrong can really screw up the running on an RD03.

Obviously an OE Honda exhaust would be a good, but quiet exhaust, whereas a Laser Pro-Duro or a Mig (I think) seem to work OK.

Kitped should be able to sort you out with a few parts, if not drop me a PM.

There's an RD03 screen on eBay which has been kicking around for a while, however it is a dark tinted one, so will not look original if that's what you're after.
