Would anyone mind posting up pics/diagrams of how the small diameter pipes are connected to the carbs on an RD07A?
They're not just float bowl drains by the look of it, they go inbetween the carbs too.

Are these any good to you? If they are the not what you are after let me know and I'll look through some more stripdown files I have.
Thanks a lot sully - you see on the third pic, the pipe runs behind your Scottoiler vacuum pipe - where is it going?
If you mean the pipe that goes straight up from the T joint it goes to the connector between the carbs as shown in the attached pic. Don't confuse it with the fuel feed pipes (grey with red stripe) coming from the fuel pump. The other branch of the T joint is the overflow pipe which drains down and exits behind the lefthand bottom frame rail, approximately behind the footrest. The engine breather and fuel tank overflow pipes also feed down to there, where there is a metal bracket on the frame to hold them. Is this any help?
Chris
I think I can work with those pics, but if I need more I'll post back.
Thanks Chris, much appreciated mate![]()
Also, where does pipe 11 go?!
Thanks very much for any help with this

Bump.
£10 for anyone who can pop the tank and airbox off and tell me how the carb pipework should be installed.
Hi
Sorry I havn't got back to you before, been away for a few weeks and just got back yesterday. If you want the best twisty roads in Europe, forget the Alps, try Sardinia and Corsica! Even in January temperatures up to 20C at sea level, down to about 5C at altitude, no traffic, good surfaces, and a cheap time to do it.
My file of pics is on another computer which I'll have a look at tomorrow, but from memory the top left and right tubes in your pic go beneath the carbs to the carb float bowls, the next one down on the left is tube 11 and goes over the top of the rear cylinder, retained under the black clip attached to the front tappet adjustment cover bolt, and fits to the black plastic joint set part 1. The tail of the pipe then feeds down to the same bracket as the airbox breather pipes pass through down behind the lefthand frame rail adjacent to the left footrest. With the exception of the fuel pump overflow, all the breather and overflow pipes locate through that bracket.
Hope this makes sense and I'll check my pics tomorrow.
Chris
Sounds lovely mate! Glad you had a good time! Serious about the tenner too, I just want a working bike and this is one more thing to cross off the list.
I don't think this bit of hose does the float bowls - I have a seperate piece that fits those fine, and none of the pipes on this section clamp onto them properly!
On the parts diagram, it looks like parts 7, 16, 20, 21, and 23 drain the float bowls - have a look tomorrow and see what I mean!
Thanks for getting back to me![]()
