Chain Sliders

Lads Ive searched the forum and the web . Do I have to spend €40 on a chain slider or does our slider get used on other Honda's . I dont mind paying for something but 40 notes , is it just me or is that over the top for what it is.

Are you sure it needs replacement? I bought a new one 'cause it looked like mine was done and when I took it off I saw that there was loads left.
