    Front springs from Hagon

I have also ordered new front springs from Hagon. Do someone know how much oil I need? is it enough with 1 litre for them both? And how many mm from the top is the right amount? Any reccomondations, 10, 15 or 20W. My weight is around 100 kg.

    Re: Front springs from Hagon

Hi lonelybiker. Recommended oil is 5W. A lot of people seem to use 10wt to stiffen the front end a bit. I used 10wt by mistake when I changed my fork springs and it is absolutely fine.

My manual lists fork oil capacity thus:
    XRV750 L-N (1990-92)................635cc
    XRV750 P-onwards (1993-02).......648cc

    Fork oil level:
    XRV750 L-N (1990-92)................118mm
    XRV750 P-onwards (1993-02).......116mm
Oil level is measured from top of the tube with the fork spring removed and the leg fully compressed.
