    Improved AT seat

I seem to remember a few post's,but can't find them now about getting the AT seat fitted with better shaped foam. Can abdee point me in the right direction.
My first ride out this year ( today ) has reminded me how dire the seat is,too bloody high as well.
But the 3 month between riding it last has got the Buell out of my system ,when I wound it on climbing up from dufftown going to Huntly it flew ,plenty fast enough .
    cheers
    Lee

    thanks chaps.
Pyro, could you send me the upholsterer's details, the one on ebay would be prime for getting sorted if it's not very comfy, cos it's cheap and local, and would save my original blue one ,to keep the bike original.
    Sorted

    Re: Improved AT seat

OK you lot...what experiences have people had getting there seat altered...the standard seat is painful after a while on the motorway but not too bad on the twisty roads as you tend to move around....is a Gel seat that much better and is it worth the money?

Having just had mine done by 'Motorcycle Seatworks', here's a couple of threads that might be of interest -
    Africa Twin Custom Seat

The increase in height with my own seat isn't a problem for me - lang legged. I've not been out longer than 20 miles since I got it back but it feels fine so far!

    Re: Improved AT seat

If you give the guy enough notice he may be able to turn it round but you had best enquire, it cost me £200 for two gel pads and the seat completely recovered and new Honda inlaid down each side as per original, you can check out the web site at
www.caulfieldleather.co.uk or tel 07921450365, is place is 10mins from J24 M60 heading towards Hyde.
