    Noisy facit pump fixed

Easy as pie to fix a noisy facit fuel pump, mine has been getting worse and worse over last couple months. New fuel filter: Noise gone, totaly. Quite a handy thing really as I never quite knew when to change the fuel filter before. Now I know that when it starts ticking the fuel filter needs changing!

I hope this helps some other too!

    George

    Thanks George

It's the running out of fuel and overheating that burnt my original pump and then my facet pump out Clogged filters don't help You live & learn.

Got a Pierburg one on now but always try to keep her well fuelled.

My Facet started knocking yesterday. I tried to blow old filter but it didn`t really help. I did order new one but I`ll get it thursday.

Could fault be in filter, if i try to bleed fuel out it runs freely.

    Noise is gone.

I did clean filter from tap, renewed filter and once tank was dismounted emptied carbs. There was some water lying in.

What kind of mileages has Facet pumps been running?

    EDIT:
Noise came back and installed original Mitsubishi.
Facet lasted about 15tkm is that normal?
